CNC routers use a high-speed spinning cutter to machine rigid materials, following a path set in software. They cut aluminium composite, acrylic, wood, MDF, foam PVC and solid plastics cleanly, and can engrave, chamfer and V-groove panels ready for folding into sign trays.
They are the machine of choice for built-up letters, sign trays, display stands and shopfitting, and for any work too thick or hard for a knife-based cutter. Many sign makers run one alongside a digital cutting table, using each for the work it does best.
