In Stress Awareness Month, the Printing Charity introduces the Wellbeing Community for print businesses to access mental health toolkits and workplace wellbeing support
The Printing Charity has announced the launch of the Wellbeing Community, a free platform designed to support individuals responsible for staff welfare within the print, packaging, and graphic communication sectors. The initiative is aimed at HR professionals, mental health first aiders, people managers, and business owners, providing them with a suite of off-the-shelf resources to help embed wellbeing into their daily operations.
The launch aligns with this year’s Stress Awareness Month theme, #BeTheChange, which encourages businesses to take proactive steps toward a healthier working environment. Membership in the community offers access to expert-led webinars, topic-specific toolkits, and informational materials ready for immediate distribution across a workforce.
Beyond digital resources, the Printing Charity is providing in-person support through its relationship managers, who are available for on-site visits and roadshows. This hybrid approach is intended to help businesses of all sizes, especially those that may find the prospect of developing a formal wellbeing programme daunting due to time or resource constraints.

Neil Lovell, CEO of the Printing Charity, said, “We know that supporting workplace wellbeing effectively really matters to businesses in our sectors. Findings from our research last summer showed that more than seven in ten people have a strong sense of belonging, but we also know that for those leading businesses, it can feel challenging to know how to develop a programme against so many competing demands. The Wellbeing Community is a route through which we can help champions access support entirely free of charge.”
The business case for such initiatives is supported by research from the London School of Economics, which indicates that a meaningful increase in employee wellbeing can lead to a productivity boost of approximately 10%. By providing these tools for free, the Printing Charity aims to ensure that mental health and inclusion remain a priority, regardless of a company’s budget.
The charity is inviting all sector professionals with a remit for staff wellbeing to sign up for the community to begin accessing these tailored materials. By centralising expert guidance and practical toolkits, the initiative seeks to simplify the process of creating a supportive, high-performing workplace.
