The Print Show 2026 opens bookings for Print Mastermind Live, an interactive peer roundtable feature hosted at the NEC Birmingham.
Organisers of The Print Show have opened advance seat bookings for an all-new educational feature, Print Mastermind Live, ahead of this year’s exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham. Developed in partnership with Colin Sinclair McDermott, widely known as The Online Print Coach, the dedicated interactive area gives print business owners an opportunity to step away from the primary trade show floor and participate in structured peer-to-peer discussions regarding business growth, profitability, and operational leadership.

Located adjacent to the Knowledge Zone near the rear of Hall 1, the feature provides short, topic-led group sessions hosted by experienced printing industry professionals. Running in 30-minute slots at set intervals throughout each day, every roundtable is designed to deliver practical insights into current market conditions and commercial strategies. The daily schedule covers key focus areas including Marketing and Visibility, Business Growth and Sales, Leadership and Personal Development, and Future and Innovation. Visitors can reserve up to two sessions per day in advance, with the same core topics running across all three days of the exhibition to accommodate single-day attendees.
Founder of The Online Print Coach, Colin Sinclair McDermott, highlighted the distinct value of the initiative for show attendees, stating: “The Print Show is packed with kit, suppliers and new tech. Our round tables are the one place where the conversation is purely about you – the owner running the business. No slides, no sales pitches, just structured, peer-to-peer discussion on the topics that actually matter.”
McDermott explained that the interactive sessions are structured to yield actionable commercial results for delegates across various print sectors. He added, “Each 30-minute session is led by a facilitator who keeps the conversation focused and makes sure everyone leaves with at least one action they can apply the next working day. Whether you run a small print shop, a signage company, a garment decoration business or a larger commercial operation, the topics are chosen to reflect the real pressures leaders face.”
Event Director Chris Davies emphasised that the feature addresses key everyday commercial challenges facing print companies, commenting, “Print Mastermind Live is all about practical, honest conversations that help printers tackle the challenges they face every day. Whether it’s winning new business, improving margins or getting more from existing customers, the sessions are designed to give visitors ideas and insight they can take back to their businesses.”
