Mimaki details industrial UV and textile lineup at FESPA

Mimaki debuts the UJ330H-160 hybrid UV printer and previews its next-generation 330 platform DTF textile concept

Mimaki Europe has launched its exhibition line-up at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 with a stand designed to showcase diverse real-world applications and print workflows. Exhibiting at Booth D95,Hall 3 at the Fira de Barcelona, the manufacturer has organised its space into distinct experience zones. These dedicated areas allow visitors to explore live print workflows across hybrid UV, sign graphics, textile production, product customisation, and high-volume industrial manufacturing.

A major focus of the company’s hardware display is the international trade show debut of the UJ330H-160 hybrid UV printer. This 1.6-metre platform is engineered to transition between roll-to-roll media and rigid substrates, allowing signmakers and print service providers to produce indoor signage, point-of-sale displays, and packaging prototypes on a single piece of equipment. The system utilises advanced fine-droplet ink delivery down to 4 picolitres, enabling the production of detailed textures, spot varnishes, white layer backing, and tactile 2.5D embossed effects.

Danna Drion, General Manager of Marketing and Product Management at Mimaki Europe, said, “At FESPA 2026, we want to show customers not only what our technologies can do, but what they can make possible. Print service providers are looking for tangible ways to expand their offering, improve efficiency and respond to new market demands. Our stand has been built around those needs, with live applications and workflows that mirror real production environments, so visitors can see how Mimaki innovation can help them diversify with confidence.”

Early European adoption of the hybrid platform includes Swedish commercial printer Infront Nordic, who integrated the machine via local reseller Color Systems to reduce external production outsourcing. Similarly, Turkish signage firm DB Reklam noted that the system delivers precise registration across rigid boards and soft media without the mechanical compromises historically associated with hybrid feeding tables. Concurrently, the manufacturer is demonstrating its new UJV200 Series, an entry-level roll-to-roll LED UV line developed to make white and clear gloss specialty inks commercially accessible to growing sign shops.

In the textile sector, Mimaki is displaying a new DTF concept model based on its high-volume 330 production series. This preview highlights the company’s engineering direction for industrial garment decoration, moving away from basic desktop transfer systems toward automated, predictable, and colour-consistent manufacturing platforms.

Arjen Evertse, Director of Sales at Mimaki Europe, added, “DTF printing is entering its next phase of maturity. Customers are no longer looking only for an entry point into the technology; they want predictability, productivity and consistent colour as they scale up. Through our continued development in this area, we are focusing on the priorities that matter most to the print industry, creating DTF systems that are robust, repeatable and fit for the future.”

The complete hardware portfolio on display in Spain is supported by Mimaki’s updated RasterLink RIP software and the PICT cloud-based machine monitoring tool, designed to help print rooms gather accurate performance data. Mimaki hardware is distributed exclusively across the UK and Ireland by Hybrid Services, who are hosting parallel demonstration initiatives for regional buyers.
