Operating from its Reading base since 1998, Colourbyte works as an independent supplier of digital print hardware, specialised inkjet media, and managed engineering support. Through the new agreement, HP customers will gain access to consolidated workflows that combine wide-format printer hardware with tailored substrate profiling, dedicated colour management consultancy, and ongoing technical service. The agreement encompasses the full lineup of HP DesignJet commercial printers, replacement parts, and associated media components.

Colin Easton, UK&I Large Format Print Country Lead at HP, said, “We are incredibly pleased to welcome Colourbyte to the HP DesignJet family. HP relies on high-calibre, value-added partners who truly understand the complex, evolving needs of the professional AEC and graphics market. Colourbyte’s long-standing reputation for solution sales and independent media expertise makes them an ideal fit. Together, we are better positioned to empower creative businesses, architects, and print service providers with high quality sales support, print solutions and responsiveness inherent to our DesignJet range.”

The partnership allows Colourbyte to broaden its existing equipment stable, targeting architects, construction engineers, creative design agencies, and commercial print service providers. The inclusion of the DesignJet family allows the business to deliver robust print solutions alongside its own extensive consumables catalogue, offering customers comprehensive support from initial hardware specification through to daily production media supply.

Tim Stockley, Director at Colourbyte, added, “Joining forces with a globally respected vendor like HP marks a fantastic milestone for Colourbyte. For nearly thirty years, our mission has been to provide our clients with the absolute best in print technology, solutions and specialised consumables. Incorporating the HP DesignJet range into our portfolio of large format print offerings enables us to offer robust, high-performance solutions to our customers within the graphic arts market. We are thrilled to collaborate with HP and look forward to delivering hardware, ink, and media solutions to the wider market.”

The complete range of HP DesignJet hardware, original inks, and integrated workflow media is available immediately through Colourbyte’s website, trade catalogue, and dedicated product showroom.
