The business of digital print media supplier Ultraflex Europe Ltd has been acquired by Endutex, Providing the expanding European technical coated textile Group with a new distribution base in the UK.

Endutex, founded in 1970, is headquartered near to the city of Porto in Portugal. The Group has production facilities in Portugal and Brazil and distribution branches in Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, and Germany, making it a sizeable global player. They are one of the leading vertical producers of technical textiles, with a focus on the production of polyurethane, PVC, acrylic, and silicone-coated media products up to 5 meters wide.

Endutex exports around 85% due to a diversified product portfolio, strong R&D, and good customer service supported by the distribution network mentioned above and other key distributors worldwide in the field of digital print.

Ultraflex UK was identified as an ideal acquisition prospect due to its strong customer base, good market image, high-level service, and knowledgeable staff.

It will continue with the same support team and service levels and will be adding new and exciting products to its portfolio and additional stock over the coming months. The Ultraflex Europe business will be rebranded as Endutex UK starting from December 2023 and its website will become www.endutex.co.uk.

“We are delighted to confirm that the acquisition has now gone through. We have been part of the USA based Ultraflex business for the past 30 years but, for many years, have been a very separate independent trading company with little trading synergy between us. Endutex, however, is a great fit for the UK Ultraflex business, with innovative complementary products to add to our portfolio. This acquisition will make us a wholly owned distributor for Endutex in the UK.” Said Clint Green, Managing Director for Ultraflex Europe.

Vitor Abreu, CEO of Endutex Group, said of the acquisition, “Ultraflex Europe has built a strong UK business, selling a broad range of media to main wide format printers across the UK. We look forward to working with the new UK team to develop a broader portfolio of products with them and provide an even better service to all our customers.

Stock of the Endutex product range is now available at the Endutex UK Cambridgeshire facility and also at Soyang UK, a highly reputable distributor and long partner of Endutex in the UK market.
