Young People in Print & Packaging will promote industry careers and host a Student Trail at the UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show 2026.
The UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show (UKCITS) has partnered with Young People in Print & Packaging (YPIPP) to promote career opportunities across the corrugated sector during its eighth annual conference, taking place on 6 and 7 October 2026 at the Telford International Centre in Shropshire.
Designed to address workforce shortages and connect corrugated manufacturers with emerging talent, the two-day event will feature a dedicated YPIPP exhibition booth, an industry presentation, and a specialised Student Trail programme. The initiative encompasses guided floor tours, face-to-face mentoring sessions, and educational workshops tailored for students, apprentices, and young professionals across the print, converting, and packaging supply chains.

Board member at YPIPP, Jo Stephenson, commented, “As an established supporter of UKCITS, it’s always great to go and get a sense of the trends driving the industry every year. This year we’re really heartened to see the efforts being made to boost youth engagement in the sector and are keen to build on that initiative during our time in Telford.”
The partnership coincides with YPIPP’s broader Love Our Landmarks campaign, which connects schools with regional print and packaging businesses to establish long-term recruitment pipelines. Stephenson added, “Our aim is to help young people build the skills needed for a stable, interesting career. But equally important to us is getting companies across the supply chain involved, so that they can help foster local pools of talent that will pay massive dividends in the future.”
Free delegate registration for UKCITS 2026 is currently open online. Occupying Hall 3 at the Telford International Centre, the event will gather boxmakers, sheet plants, equipment suppliers, and brand owners to showcase technological advancements and discuss market trends shaping the corrugated packaging industry.
