UFABRIK appoints Sesoma as its new soft signage distributor in Finland

UFABRIK has expanded its European network by appointing Sesoma as its new distributor in Finland, bringing premium, PVC-free soft signage textiles to the region.

UFABRIK has continued the expansion of its European network with the appointment of Sesoma as its new distributor in Finland. The move strengthens UFABRIK’s presence in a territory where soft signage and polyester-based print applications are already well established.

UFABRIK has appointed Sesoma as its new distributor for the Finnish print market.

Based in Vantaa, close to Helsinki Airport, Sesoma has serviced the Finnish market for over 40 years, supplying production equipment and materials to customers in the signage, digital printing, and vehicle wrapping industries. The new partnership grew organically from UFABRIK’s existing relationship with Sesoma’s sister companies in the Baltics. This early positive experience highlighted the potential for a wider collaboration in Finland as a natural next step.

The appointment provides Sesoma Finland with its own polyester textile offering for the first time, enabling it to support customers with a more complete solution.

Sami Lempinen, Managing Director at Sesoma Finland, explains: “Although direct and transfer printing on polyester are both widely used by Sesoma customers, polyester fabrics had not previously formed part of our own range. By bringing in the full UFABRIK portfolio, we can now supply materials that customers would have sourced from elsewhere.”

Lempinen adds that the addition creates new sales opportunities for the business. When selling a dye-sublimation printer, a direct-to-fabric printer, or an Expolinc Light Frame, the company can now simultaneously offer UFABRIK textiles.

The Finnish market has maintained a strong demand for soft signage and environmentally responsible products for decades. UFABRIK textiles offer consistent quality, competitive pricing, and excellent colour reproduction while being highly versatile, recyclable, and PVC-free. They are lighter to transport and easier to install, steadily replacing traditional materials used in retail, events, and exhibitions.

Monika Mourao, European Sales Director at UFABRIK, comments on the agreement: “Sesoma has an established position in the market with strong customer reach and the right infrastructure to fully support the UFABRIK portfolio. It’s exactly the kind of partnership we want to build as we continue to grow our European market share.”

Sesoma backs this up with significant operational strength, including a large warehouse, experienced logistics staff, and a transport network enabling next-day delivery anywhere in Finland. Customers can view stock availability through Sesoma’s online store and benefit from material samples and demo events.

Lempinen concludes: “By adding UFABRIK’s innovative and sustainable materials to our portfolio, our customers can now expect better performance, a wider range of eco-friendly and sustainable textile options, and better availability to support project schedules. We are confident that this collaboration will increase the value we bring to our customers’ businesses.”
