Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems will demonstrate its latest cutting tables, automation solutions, and the new Inkjet Marking Module at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2026.
Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems has announced its technology line-up for the upcoming FESPA Global Print Expo 2026. Taking place from 19th to 22nd May at the Fira de Barcelona, the manufacturer will highlight how its solutions, industry partnerships, and in-house materials experts support sign, display, and packaging producers.

Exhibiting on Stand 3/C111, Kongsberg PCS will showcase a selection of advanced cutting table configurations for rigid, flexible, textile, and corrugated applications. Highlights on the stand will include:
- The Kongsberg C: Connected to the newly launched semi-automated Smart Material Handler, demonstrating entry-level automation, precision, and durability.
- The Kongsberg Ultimate: Equipped with an advanced automated Feeder & Stacker, tailored for high-volume corrugated production.
- The Kongsberg X: Spotlighted for its unique application capabilities, featuring a new Inkjet Marking Module (IMM) making its European debut.
The new Inkjet Marking Module (IMM) showcased on the X series enables operators to add production-related information, compliance details, and order number identification at the production stage. By replacing manual marking steps or external label printers, the IMM supports producers in complying with new EU packaging regulations and offers robust track-and-trace capabilities. Features include a resolution of up to 600 dpi and full integration with Kongsberg’s i-cut Production Console (iPC) software.
The Ultimate table will be showcased alongside the new Kongsberg Extended Automation Safety (EAS) system. Developed for automated production environments where operator safety is paramount, the EAS provides a structured safety approach that allows companies to increase automation while maintaining a high level of operator protection.
Kongsberg is also introducing further tool and software enhancements to increase versatility. The Kongsberg PressCut Knife Tool has been updated to match the high production speeds of the Ultimate. Designed for kiss-cutting adhesive vinyl and foils, it features a spring-loaded pressure system and software-controlled rolled pressure to ensure reliable cutting, even as velocity changes.
Furthermore, the latest iPC software update brings workflow enhancements that simplify job preparation and expand support for PDF metadata. With new functionality in the Kongsberg ai-cut plug-in, pre-production metadata can now be generated directly in Adobe Illustrator and passed seamlessly through to the iPC.
CSR and Corrugated Conference Inspired by the FESPA Foundation’s mission to support young people, Kongsberg PCS has pledged its support by donating custom-designed corrugated school satchels for underprivileged students in sub-Saharan Africa. The carry cases contain essential stationery alongside educational tools manufactured using Kongsberg technology.
Additionally, Kongsberg PCS will participate in the co-located Corrugated event. On 20th May, David Preskett, Vice President EMEA & APAC, will host a presentation at The Corrugated Conference delving into the trends shaping the global packaging industry.
Stuart Fox, President and CEO of Kongsberg PCS, comments: “At this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, we are focusing on innovative solutions that encourage sign, display and packaging producers to look to the future of their operations. By investing in partnerships and versatile solutions that are designed to scale as their business grows, sign, display and packaging producers can not only adapt to fast-changing market needs but also deliver better value to their customers.”
