swissQprint Nyala 4 delivers a bright future for Oasis

Berkshire signage and graphics experts, Oasis Graphic Co, is seeing impressive growth in productivity, versatility, and reliability from its recently installed swissQprint Nyala 4

Lisa Osborne, director. Oasis Graphic Co

Oasis operates in a wide range of sectors. From small vehicle decals and retail signage to wide format promotional graphics, it offers an array of bespoke print solutions to its clients, often using a number of challenging substrates.

After the difficulties of the pandemic, Directors Lisa and Simon Osborne took the decision to reset the business and review its target markets, investing in both new talent and new equipment. The swissQprint Nyala, equipped with six colours plus white and varnish and a 3.2 m roll-to-roll option, is at the very front line of their production growth and development.

Key amongst the new markets which the Nyala is unlocking for Oasis is art reproduction. Effortless delivery of high-quality print, combined with the addition of new finishes, such as varnish and texture printing, has allowed the business to provide customers with the results they have been looking for.

The Nyala’s 3.2 m roll to roll option has also enabled Oasis to develop its interior furnishings market with the production of a range of superb finishes for wallpapers and wraps. Enquiries for bespoke printing have also increased, with the Nyala’s reputation for enabling creative designs to become a reality. Many clients are asking for a wider range of print results.

Lisa Osborne, said:

“Confidence in quality and creativity of print from our Nyala has encouraged us to sample and test a variety of new effects and finishes for our clients,”

“Whereas before we’d be showing off samples that were as close as we could get to the client’s idea, we can now provide them with results exactly as they have specified, and in a number of cases, over and beyond what they ever expected.”

With the support of many of their existing clients and staff, Oasis has grown to a team of 14. The business anticipates a £2m turnover this year, with the Nyala supporting its growth.

Stephen Pridham, Sales Manager at swissQprint is delighted at the impact the new machine has had:

“Oasis knew that the Nyala would enable them to open new opportunities and it is fantastic to see how the investment is now truly delivering for the business.”

Lisa concluded:

“It is only since we began to uncover the true potential of swissQprint’s Nyala that we realised not only could it deliver on every production aspect we required, but through its capabilities, agility and productivity we have been able to open a host of new target markets.

“This has empowered us to service existing clients, whilst exploring innovative print solutions and effects for customers in new sectors too. Truly, a ‘win/win’ result!”
