Signs Express Worcester has entered an exciting new chapter following a management buyout by long-standing team members Mac Jenkinson and Rich Larkin. The pair officially became the new owners of the business on September 4th, taking over from Lorraine Shellam, who has led the company for the past five years following the passing of her husband, Phil.
Having worked at the centre for many years, Jenkinson and Larkin have played a crucial role in its success and are already deeply familiar with the business, its customers, and its core values. Moving forward, they plan to build on the strong foundations laid by the Shellam family while maintaining the high standards of service, expertise, and comprehensive signage solutions that local customers have come to expect.
Speaking about the move, Mac Jenkinson and Rich Larkin said: “We’re excited to take on the business and continue the incredible legacy of Lorraine and Phil. We love the business, the industry and being able to support local businesses, seeing the difference we can make. We’re also humbled that Lorraine trusts us to take over the business and can’t wait to get stuck into ownership.”
The management buyout reflects a growing trend within the wider Signs Express network, which has seen several centres transition to new ownership through similar buyouts in recent years.
