Polyprint to debut powder-free Direct-to-Film solution featuring liquid adhesive to eliminate powder handling and improve garment decoration workflow.
Polyprint has announced that it will showcase a new powder-free DTF solution at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, held in Barcelona from 19 to 22 May. The system represents a shift in transfer production by replacing the manual or mechanical application of adhesive powder with a digitally printed liquid adhesive.

The new platform integrates DuPont Artistri JA1100 Jettable Adhesive, which is jetted directly onto the film via the printhead. This approach is designed to create a cleaner working environment by removing airborne particulates associated with powder shakers. Beyond environmental benefits, the liquid adhesive technology aims to produce transfers with a softer hand-feel and consistent wash durability, offering a more controlled and scalable process for high-quality garment decoration.
George Benglopoulos, President and Managing Director of Polyprint, said, “Digital DTF printing has grown rapidly, but the process still comes with challenges in powder handling, working conditions, consistency, and operator comfort. With our new Powder-Free DTF solution, we are redefining the DTF workflow, eliminating powder while delivering a cleaner, more controlled and scalable approach to textile printing.”
The manufacturer will also exhibit its Filmjet Mini series, which includes compact, all-in-one DTF systems available in 33 cm and 60 cm widths. Introduced in late 2025, these units integrate the printer, powder shaker, curing oven, and filtration unit into a single footprint. Each system comes with an embedded mini PC and RIP software, designed to simplify the setup process for entry-level users and growing businesses.
In addition to DTF advancements, Polyprint will introduce the Texjet Mini, an affordable eight-colour direct-to-garment (DTG) printer. Utilising a CMYKRGBO+W ink configuration, the system offers a 35 x 45 cm print area and is built to provide a wider colour gamut for vibrant, standalone garment production.
According to Benglopoulos, the company’s focus at FESPA 2026 will remain on three key pillars: cleaner DTF production, compact and accessible systems, and the next generation of DTG printing. Visitors can view the live demonstrations at Hall 3, Booth 3-B80, where the team will be available to discuss how these technologies fit into modern textile workflows.
