FESPA debuts its new Textile event in Barcelona, May 2026, focusing on DTG, DTF, and sustainable digital production for fashion and interior décor.
FESPA has announced the debut of its new Textile event, a specialised exhibition and conference designed to unite the fashion, apparel, and interior décor communities. Taking place in Hall 3 of the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, the event is co-located with FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, WrapFest, and the new Corrugated show. This collective of six events allows visitors to explore cross-sector opportunities while accessing a concentrated showcase of fabric-focused technologies.

The dedicated exhibition space will feature a wide range of production hardware, including roll-to-roll machinery, direct-to-garment (DTG), and direct-to-fabric (DTF) systems. Confirmed exhibitors include industry leaders such as Brother, Kornit Digital, KYOCERA, M&R, Roq, and STAHLS. The primary objective of the event is to provide garment producers, designers, and brands with practical strategies for improving production efficiency and adopting more environmentally responsible printing operations.
In addition to the hardware showcase, a four-day conference programme will offer insights into productivity, waste reduction, and the role of data in the production chain. Moderated by FESPA Textile Ambassador Debbie McKeegan, the sessions will include panel discussions on digital workflows and circular business models. Key sessions will cover the transition to digital technology, on-demand décor for interiors, and surface embellishment techniques for the apparel market.
Duncan MacOwan, Head of Marketing & Events at FESPA, said, “Textile will provide a platform for specialists in fashion, apparel, sportswear, interior décor and more, to explore a wide range of products and solutions. At the same time, the event strengthens FESPA’s long-standing heritage in the textile printing industry. This inaugural event promises to deliver opportunities not only for the textile community, but for the entire FESPA network.”
The event builds on FESPA’s 60-year history in screen and digital printing, reflecting the increasing importance of sportswear and garment personalisation within the wider print industry. By providing a dedicated space for these applications, FESPA aims to help its community navigate the move toward on-demand and nearshore production.
Registration for the event provides access to all six co-located shows. FESPA national Association members and FESPA Direct members can attend the exhibition and conference free of charge, ensuring the global textile community can engage with the latest trends and technical innovations shaping the market.
