According to Daniel Martinez, Global Head and General Manager, HP Large Format, “this announcement is a significant milestone in our innovation strategy. These solutions are designed to empower mid-large volume print service providers to embrace the future with state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions, fostering continuous adaptability. By enabling their workflows and equipment to evolve hand in hand with their businesses, these cutting-edge solutions ensure that our customers remain competitive in the ever-changing market”.

Oscar Vidal, Global Director, Product & Strategy, Large Format Print, said “We understand the importance of scalability and growth for high volume and long run print service providers.”

Offering a wide range of signage and décor applications, including thin films, vinyl, and odourless backlit textiles, both models ensure consistent colour and quality configurations. The HP Latex FS50 and FS60 offers an expanded colour palette, offering a 30% wider range of colours compared to previous models. This enhanced capability opens up new creative possibilities for printers, enabling them to produce more vibrant and visually striking prints.

The HP Latex FS50 is capable of print speeds reaching up to 89 square meters per hour. This high-speed performance enables efficient production and shorter turnaround times, helping printers meet tight deadlines and maximize productivity.

HP have also announced new features to their HP PrintOS Live Production software that now allows the remote management of workflow. HP have cited labour shortages as a driver for developing remote management capabilities and automation solutions enabling unattended print runs managed from a recently launched mobile app or the desltop.

“With the introduction of the HP Latex FS50 and FS60 series and the upcoming availability of the new features of Live Production software, we are expanding scalability to both hardware and software solutions. Our goal is to provide PSPs with the tools they need to achieve sustainable growth and thrive in an ever-changing market,” concludes Vidal.
