Latest shift in InkTec’s senior team demonstrates career progression for others within the business

The recent expansion of InkTec Europe’s sales team reveals a shift in business direction, with Julian Mennell joining the team as National Hardware Sales Manager.

This coincides with a number of existing team members being nurtured to take on new roles including Ian Windebank moving to European Technical Sales and Scott Peaper taking the JETRIX Technical Lead.

These moves signal a positive shift in team dynamics. Julian brings a significant breadth of experience across the wide format printing sector, including formerly working with both leading brands and print service providers. This wealth of technical and graphics knowledge extends across a mix of hardware, software and management systems. His remit is to increase InkTec’s hardware business, specifically focused on the JETRIX LED UV printers. This will involve actively reaching out to resellers, customers (new and old) and also identifying new prospects.

This is also enabling other members of the current team to develop and progress into new roles. The first of which is Ian, who has been instrumental in building the strength of the JETRIX technical installation and support team and is now branching out into having more of a focus on European sales. This will involve him increasingly handing over elements of his role to Scott over the next few months. While Scott, who has been with InkTec for over 10 years and joined the team as an apprentice from school, has developed significantly during this time to become a reliable and integral part of the JETRIX team. In recognition of his knowledge and expertise he is moving on to lead the support team moving forwards.

Of the new roles, Joey Kim, Managing Director of InkTec Europe said;

“It is time to proactively push the business forwards with myself, Julian and Ian forming a core InkTec Hardware Sales Team focused on driving JETRIX business to the next level. But at the same time, we are delighted to be able to nurture those within the business and given them additional opportunities and responsibilities to take on new and exciting roles.”

Julian Mennell said; “I have long been an admirer of JETRIX printers; partly down to the quality of the kit, what they can achieve and even down to the feedback on the level of aftercare service. Being part of the wide format sector for so long, sometimes on the competitor side of JETRIX, means I am excited to now have the opportunity to work at InkTec Europe and represent such a prestigious and widely recognised brand.”

Julian continues, “Much of my time will be spent proactively in the field visiting customers and contacts to build relationships, understand more about the vision of their business and how we can potentially help them achieve this. I am very much looking forward to getting out there!”
