Konica Minolta appoints James Pittick as Sales Director to lead its digital workplace and professional print sales strategy
Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK has announced the appointment of James Pittick as its new sales director, a strategic hire designed to accelerate the company’s ongoing commercial transformation across its core print and technology divisions. Taking official effect from 1 June 2026, the senior appointment places Pittick in charge of all direct and indirect sales channels throughout the United Kingdom, tasked with driving market growth across both the digital workplace and professional print business portfolios.
Pittick joins the technology provider with more than two decades of senior operational experience gained across the commercial printing, office technology, and managed IT services industries. His professional background includes a track record of establishing multi-tier sales structures and securing consistent growth across public sector frameworks and private corporate environments. His specific technical competencies focus on solutions-led consultancy, document workflow automation, managed print services, and the cultivation of collaborative partner dealer networks.

The appointment aligns with Konica Minolta’s structural transition, as the business continues to adapt its corporate operating model to foster closer collaboration with commercial clients and channel resellers. Pittick is expected to unify the company’s varied sales routes, establishing greater operational consistency and a more customer-centric approach across the firm’s national commercial divisions.
James Pittick said, “I’m delighted to be joining Konica Minolta to lead the UK sales function at such a pivotal stage in its transformation. The company has a strong heritage in imaging technology and a clear vision for the future. Their reputation for customer focus, innovation, and trusted partnerships, enable the delivery of innovative solutions that help customers transform how they work. I’m looking forward to working with Konica Minolta’s teams, partners, and customers to accelerate growth across all channels, helping customers realise the full value of our digital workplace and professional print solutions.”
Rob Ferris, CEO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, added, “James’s extensive industry knowledge, multi‑channel experience, and ability to lead successful high-performing teams make him an exceptional addition to our team. His appointment strengthens our senior leadership team, as we continue to build an even more agile, customer-centric organisation. I look forward to welcoming James and working closely with him, as we continue to strengthen our position across our digital workplace solutions and helping customers ignite their print possibilities.”
