Fujifilm launches Revoria Press PC2120 with green toner alongside the automated Revoria Color Management software platform
Fujifilm has expanded its commercial print portfolio with the global launch of its flagship six-colour production engine, the Revoria Press PC2120. Developed as the next-generation successor to the popular PC1120 model, the new B3-format machine introduces sophisticated artificial intelligence automation and an expanded colour gamut. To support the launch, the manufacturer has concurrently released Revoria Colour Management, an integrated software utility engineered to automate colour calibration, profiling, and quality verification directly on the production floor.
The Revoria PC2120 features a one-pass engine that pairs standard CMYK channels with two structural speciality toner slots. Fujifilm has expanded its dry toner lineup to seven choices with a newly developed green toner, which joins gold, silver, pink, clear, white, and textured paper variations. By combining the new green and existing pink formulations, the press replicates 93 per cent of Pantone spot colours, allowing commercial print rooms to achieve the vivid, high-saturation RGB profiles that graphic designers view on screens. An automatic colour separation tool simplifies this process by splitting standard artwork files into speciality toner layers automatically, saving manual pre-press editing time.
Artificial intelligence is deployed throughout the system to simplify complex setup and production tasks. In pre-press, an automated profile tool analyses loaded paper stocks and recommends optimal mechanical settings. The print server uses AI to scan documents, automatically sharpening text and applying fine tone corrections to photographs based on scene detection. During active production runs, an inline monitoring gate tracks registration alignment and colour stability in real time, making instant micro-adjustments without reducing the printing speed of 120 pages per minute.
The accompanying Revoria Colour Management software relies on high-precision inline sensors and scanners built inside the press chassis to scan target charts in a single pass. This automated setup eliminates the need to manually extract printed sheets and measure them using external, offline devices, reducing routine colour profiling times from ten minutes to just two. The application also includes built-in FOGRA verification tolerances, enabling operators to confirm compliance with international accuracy benchmarks. Beyond the new flagship press, the software will be available as an upgrade for existing compatible systems in the field, including the SC285 and EC2100 series.
