The distribution agreement expands the supply of UK manufactured wide format UV inks across the full Dlican printing equipment range
Fujifilm Ink has expanded its OEM agreement with distributor China Print Supplies UK to become the designated ink partner across the full Dlican UV printing equipment portfolio. Announced on 4 August 2026, the updated partnership builds upon a previous rollout of thermoforming flexible inks, extending wide format UV ink supply to cover Dlican UV flatbed, UV visual positioning, UV hybrid and UV cylindrical printing hardware.

Based in Oswestry, Shropshire, China Print Supplies UK imports digital printing machinery directly from Chinese manufacturers for distribution across the UK market. The supplier provides complete production hardware packages including consumables, raster image processor software, custom colour profiling, installation services, operator training and ongoing technical maintenance. Integrating UK manufactured Fujifilm Ink formulations across the Dlican series aims to provide long term regulatory compliance, consistent colour reproduction and reliable jetting performance across diverse industrial and commercial print jobs.
Managing Director of China Print Supplies UK, Scott Clutton, explained that securing a reliable, compliant ink formulation was essential to supporting the company’s long term equipment rollout and growing regional reputation. He noted that selecting an ink manufacturer with dedicated production facilities based in Broadstairs, Kent, ensures guaranteed consumable availability and direct technical back-up for end user print service providers.
Clutton said, ‘We wanted to make sure we had the best, compliant, long-term ink solution to go with our printers. The more I spoke to people in the industry whose opinions I respect, the more obvious it became that Fujifilm Ink was the only choice. Providing long-term support, along with guaranteed availability of consumables such as ink, is hugely important to us as we continue to grow our business and reputation. Knowing the ink is manufactured here in the UK by Fujifilm made the decision even more of a no-brainer.’
Commercial Director at Fujifilm Ink, Shaun Holdom, highlighted that effective OEM partnerships rely on technical collaboration during early press integration phases to tailor chemistry specifically to the hardware platforms. By optimising the UV ink platform directly for Dlican systems, the collaboration provides print operators with application versatility and predictable production output while helping the distributor differentiate its hardware packages in a competitive marketplace.
Holdom commented, ‘Successful OEM partnerships are about much more than supplying ink. By working closely with China Print Supplies from the earliest stages of development, we’ve been able to optimise our UV ink platform specifically for their technology. The result is a solution that delivers the performance, reliability and application flexibility their customers need, while helping China Print Supplies differentiate itself in an increasingly competitive market.’
