The newly launched AccurioPress C5080 digital press will headline at The Print Show highlighting automation tools for commercial printers
Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK has confirmed that its recently launched AccurioPress C5080 Series digital production press will form the centrepiece of its stand at The Print Show 2026. Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 29 September to 1 October 2026, the trade exhibition will give commercial print providers hands-on access to the automated platform, which was officially introduced to the UK market in June.

The showcase addresses ongoing commercial print challenges, including skilled labour shortages, rising operational overheads, and increasing client demands for shorter turnaround times. Engineered to minimise manual touchpoints throughout the production cycle, the AccurioPress C5080 Series integrates automated features such as intelligent registration, real-time colour management, and inline quality control systems. These automated tools assist operators in maintaining visual consistency and reducing material waste without requiring continuous manual adjustment.
Beside its core automation features, the platform offers enhanced media flexibility, enabling print service providers to handle diverse substrates ranging from everyday commercial documentation to higher-margin, complex print jobs. The system will be demonstrated on stand P410 as part of Konica Minolta’s broader ‘Feel the Potential’ showcase, which will also cover digital label production, white toner applications, and integrated workflow software options.
Category Manager for Professional Print at Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, Malcolm Smith, stated that modern production print environments are facing persistent cost pressures, tighter deadlines, and growing demands on operator skill sets. He explained that the AccurioPress C5080 Series was developed to help print businesses address those operational hurdles directly through automation, media flexibility, and intelligent quality management that cuts operator workload and material waste.
The company expects significant interest from commercial printers looking to modernise existing pressrooms or upgrade older AccurioPress equipment with minimal operational disruption. In addition to live exhibition demonstrations at the NEC, Konica Minolta offers full production workflows and tailored application demonstrations at its Client Engagement Centre situated near Luton.
