Epson announce new professional signage & retail photo printers

Among new products on show at FESPA will be SureColor P Series and SC-S8100 64-inch large format eco solvent signage printer

Epson Europe will have a special focus on personalisation and sustainable printing technologies on its stand (A20 in Hall 2.2) at FESPA next week.

Chris Davies from Epson Europe’s Commercial & Industrial printing division explains, “We aim to inspire businesses to make the most of our printing technologies to create distinctive and beautiful personalised items while being more environmentally responsible. We’ll be showing how our printing technologies can work on a wide range of different surfaces and materials to create beautifully designed and colourful personalised items.”

New products shown for the first time at FESPA this year include the SC-S8100 64-inch large format eco solvent signage printer, complementing the SC-S7100 and SC-S9100 professional signage printers; and the new SureColor P7300 (24-inch) and P9300 (44-inch) photo printers, that have been designed to meet the needs of the retail photography, proofing, and fine art markets.

  • SC-G6000: This marks Epson’s inaugural entry into the Direct-to-Film (DTFilm) market. The SC-S7100 is an eco-solvent printer is built on the success of the SC-S40600, providing excellent 4-colour print quality, productivity and reliability. The SC-S9100 is a compact 64-inch signage printer featuring Epson’s own Edge Print Pro print management software, enhancing the production of professional displays for high quality signage, POS, wallcoverings, and vehicle wrappings. The 11-colour ink setup including the new green provides a broader colour gamut.

  • On stand will be Epson’s new SureColor P7300 (24-inch) and P9300 (44-inch) photo printers. The two new photo printers cater to the retail photography, proofing, and fine art markets, and will join the TIPA award-winning 17-inch SC-P5300 in offering an extended range of premium quality printers for photo professionals.

Other printers on stand include:

  • SureColor SC-P20500: A 64-inch printer, designed for high-quality fine art photography, posters, and indoor signage.
  • SureColor F10000H: A robust dye-sublimation printer featuring jumbo roll capabilities and additional orange and violet inks will also be on display.

Sustainable Fashion Focus:

Epson reaffirms its commitment to promoting sustainable fashion within the textile printing sector and this year will showcase our direct-to-fabric Monna Lisa range. An area of the stand will highlight how Epson’s technology can facilitate more sustainable production processes. This will include examples of fashion items produced using Epson’s ML-13000 and pigment inks which can reduce water consumption by up to 97% in the printing process, compared with analogue printing, encouraging the industry to adopt more sustainable practices.
