Durst Group will celebrate its 90th anniversary by hosting the Durst NEXT Technology Festival at its Brixen headquarters this June, focusing on the future of industrial production.
Durst Group is celebrating its 90th anniversary with the Durst NEXT Technology Festival, taking place on 25th and 26th June 2026 at the company’s headquarters in Brixen, South Tyrol. Founded in 1936, Durst has evolved from its roots in photographic imaging into a global leader in digital production and industrial printing. Operating under the guiding principle “Our World is Printed”, the anniversary year reflects on the company’s rich heritage while looking ahead to the technologies, partnerships, and ideas that will shape the next phase of industrial production.

Christoph Gamper, CEO and co-owner of Durst Group, explains that the company started 90 years ago with a clear idea to make good things better. He notes that this idea continues to guide the business today. With digital production, automation, and Industrial Intelligence, the company is building on its heritage and looking ahead to the next chapter of industrial production. The Durst NEXT Technology Festival provides an opportunity for the manufacturer to open its doors, bring people together, and discuss this future in Brixen.
Designed as an open platform for dialogue, exchange, and hands-on experience, the festival will bring together international perspectives from technology, industry, entrepreneurship, academia, and advanced manufacturing. Rachel Brill, Durst NEXT Technology Festival Director, states that industrial innovation has always been shaped by the ability to connect people, ideas, and technologies. She adds that the event creates a setting where visitors can experience how automation and artificial intelligence are becoming part of real production environments, opening new perspectives for industry, business, and society.
On 25th June, the company will host the inaugural Durst NEXT Honors, an invite-only evening dedicated to recognising the global network of partners and customers who contribute to the printed world. The following day, the festival will open its doors for a full-day public program of panels, talks, live experiences, and community formats. A central focus on the Innovation Stage will be the introduction of KYVERIS, Durst’s platform for Industrial Intelligence in Digital Print Production. By connecting hardware, software, data, and process knowledge, the new platform reflects Durst’s approach to more intelligent, adaptive, and efficient production environments.
Beyond the main stage program, visitors will be able to experience selected applications including robotics, 3D scanning, technical ceramics, wearable systems, and the KYVERIS Sandbox. Food, music, and community formats will complement the day and reflect both the festival’s scenic location in South Tyrol and Durst’s international orientation. Registration for the public festival day on 26th June is currently open.
