This revolutionary machine is a 3.2m UV roll-to-roll printer designed for improved efficiency and precision in high-volume print environments. With 3-in-1 capability, the machine can print on one or two rolls up to 3.2m, as well as two or four 1.6m rolls simultaneously. There is also a 5.2m version.
The Hapond UP3321D features two head carriages and two platens, effectively creating a 3.2m printer at the back and a 3.2m printer at the front within a single machine. This configuration allows for true double-sided printing simultaneously, eliminating the need for time-consuming media reloading or alignment. Operators can simply thread their material through and print both sides at once.
A key feature is the versatility of the Hapond UP3321D. For example, the machine can print a 3.2m banner job on the front while simultaneously printing two 1.6m vinyl rolls on the back. Each carriage produces speeds up to 75m2/h, so when combined, they can deliver 150m2/h. The dual carriages also allow both sides of a 3.2m banner to be printed at the same time without reloading and turning over. The printer is available in 4 or 6 colour configurations, with or without white ink. Customers can choose from 1, 2, or 3 rows of high-performance Konica 6pl or 13pl printheads for optimal speed and detail.
User-friendly operation is a key focus, with low-level material loading and an innovative track slider system reducing the physical strain of handling heavy media rolls. Operation is further enhanced by a foot lift module and a responsive double-sided touch screen interface.
