CMYK Europe appoints Konrad Zawieska

Zawieska brings more than 20 years of large-format engineering experience to the role of European Service Manager

CMYK Europe has announced the appointment of Konrad Zawieska as European Service Manager, a move that signals the group’s commitment to building a robust technical infrastructure outside its established UK and Ireland markets. Zawieska joins the company with over two decades of field service expertise, having held senior engineering roles at TALAWIN, Gandy Digital, and Agfa.

Throughout his career, Zawieska has supported large-format customers across Europe, North America, and Asia. His experience covers the entire equipment lifecycle, including pre-installation planning, machine setup, operator training, and ongoing technical maintenance. He also possesses extensive knowledge of workflow software and RIP systems, which allows him to provide technical consultation to sales teams regarding application requirements and machine capabilities.

In his new position, Zawieska is tasked with establishing and developing CMYK Europe’s technical service division. His immediate focus will involve supporting installations of JWEI cutting and finishing systems while building a dedicated regional team to support customers and sales activities across Europe.

Konrad Zawieska said, “For me, this is a great opportunity and adventure. CMYUK is already an industry renowned and well-established business, and now there is the chance to launch this into new territory. That is very exciting. I can bring all the experience I’ve built over the years and use it to help create something strong from the beginning.”

The appointment is a central part of the group’s strategy to replicate the service-led model that has defined its domestic success. By aligning technical support closely with the sales function, the company aims to ensure high levels of customer confidence as it enters new European territories.

Jon Price, CMYUK’s Group Chief Operations Officer, said, “We are delighted to welcome Konrad to CMYK Europe. He brings exactly the kind of experience we need as we build our European service infrastructure on the same principles that have made the business so successful in the UK and Ireland. He understands the technologies in depth, but he also understands the bigger picture where strong service, support, and sales alignment are essential to customer confidence and long-term growth.”
