Zund UK will open the doors to its Letchworth headquarters on 11 June offering an interactive look at print-and-cut automation workflows
Zund UK has announced plans to host a dedicated Graphics and Signage Open Day on Thursday 11 June 2026. Taking place at the company’s 40,000-square-foot facility in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, the educational event is designed to give large-format print providers, sign makers, and display manufacturers practical insight into optimising finishing workflows and reducing material waste.

Rather than traditional, standalone machinery demonstrations, the open day will centre around end-to-end production processes. The technical sessions will highlight how pre-press software, nesting algorithms, automated job preparation, and finishing hardware interface to remove common manufacturing bottlenecks and reduce changeover times between diverse jobs.
Live demonstrations throughout the day will cover a broad variety of popular applications, including high-speed vinyl cutting, precision routing of rigid boards, and the processing of textile and soft-signage substrates. By showcasing these processes in real time, the Zund UK technical team aims to illustrate the core differences between entry-level cutting plots and industrial-grade digital finishing systems, with a particular focus on how automated tool switching can lower labor costs and minimize expensive operator errors.
The event is structured for business owners, production managers, and operators who are evaluating ways to scale their output or expand into new material types. To ground the technical advice in real-world scenarios, the sessions will incorporate case-study examples from existing Zund users across the UK, demonstrating how regional businesses have successfully integrated digital cutting to improve daily production reliability and commercial margins.
The open day session will run from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Acuta House, Works Road, Letchworth Garden City. While attendance is entirely free of charge, the company has confirmed that physical places are strictly limited to maintain a hands-on, focused learning environment for all participants.
Registration for the event is officially open, and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Print and graphic professionals interested in attending are encouraged to secure their slots via the company’s registration page before the showroom reaches maximum capacity.
