Vism Installer Directory goes live after successful trial

After a heavily oversubscribed trial earlier this year, a directory of signage & print installers has moved out of testing and gone live
Users can search for installers by location to find local providers

The Signage & Print Installer Directory (previously Signage Installations Directory), which helps wide-format print & signage companies to find installers across the UK – and soon internationally – saw more than 500 companies and installers sign up during the trial period.

Dan Tyler, Founder of the platform and CEO at industry software provider Vism, said, “Our team are over the moon to be putting this out before year’s end. What started as a small experiment to see if we could help printers & signmakers connect with installers in other locations has quickly become a really exciting opportunity for us.”

He continued, “During the trial, we relied on 3rd party software to test the water and see what appetite there might be for something like this, but it became clear very quickly that if we wanted to do it right, we needed to develop it ourselves from the ground up, so that’s exactly what the team have done, and the result is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

It’s free to create a basic profile on the directory, and it’s open to businesses from across the industry including printers, signmakers, freelance installers and installation subcontractor companies with multiple crews.

Roksoliana Sydorska, Product Manager, said that “the initial response to our trial was great, and a lot of very useful feedback came through about what the industry would want from a site like this. Through engaging with our early users, we’ve built exactly what they need, and we’re excited to see how people benefit from using it from now on.”

Users of the directory will be able to search for installers by location so they can find providers local to the job, as well as filtering by skills, certifications and accreditations, insurances and more.
