swissQprint will demonstrate the Kudu flatbed printer and an integrated Zünd print and cut workflow at The Print Show 2026 at the NEC Birmingham
High speed flatbed printing and automated digital finishing workflows will feature prominently on stand P420 as swissQprint announces its showcase lineup for The Print Show 2026. Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 29 September to 1 October 2026, the exhibition display will focus on helping commercial print service providers balance high volume production throughput with dependable daily machine performance.

At the centre of the manufacturer’s display will be the Kudu flatbed printer, representing the latest generation of swissQprint hardware. Operating live throughout the three day event, the machine will process full size eight by four foot rigid media at high production speeds to highlight output consistency, operational ease and structural reliability under demanding deadline conditions.
The exhibition stand itself will be constructed using graphics produced entirely on the Kudu system, demonstrating substrate versatility across diverse materials including textiles, aluminium composite materials, acrylic sheets and structural Xanita board. Beyond standard sign and display applications, the display will highlight high value capabilities such as eye catching neon colour inks, tactile textured effects and spot varnish printing tailored for retail graphics, point of sale displays and bespoke interior decor.
Managing Director of swissQprint UK, Erskine Stewart, said, ‘Productivity only matters if you can rely on it.’ He noted that seeing the technology in live production makes the operational differences immediately clear to print business owners seeking long term investment stability. This focus on machine reliability is backed by the manufacturer’s standard 36 month factory warranty across its hardware portfolio.
To demonstrate a complete end to end manufacturing process, swissQprint has collaborated with digital cutting specialist Zünd. The live demonstration will showcase an integrated print and cut workflow engineered for short run packaging and customised display production, illustrating how digital printing and automated finishing systems work together to streamline operations and adapt to evolving client requirements.
