Premier celebrates £2 Million donated to Woodland Trust

The donations through its environmental programme has funded the planting of 519,132 trees across the UK since 2011.

Premier’s Carbon Capture® initiative provides customers with a way to attempt to mitigate the environmental impact of their activities. By calculating their CO₂ emissions from product purchases, customers can reduce their environmental impact by supporting tree planting projects under the UK Woodland Carbon Code, a government-accredited programme that ensures measurable and long-term carbon mitigation.

The Carbon Capture® programme began in 2011 as a way for businesses to help mitigate the CO₂ emissions from their paper purchases. Since then, it has grown, surpassing £1 million in contributions by 2019 with all funds directed to the Woodland Trust’s reforestation programmes across the UK. This latest milestone reflects the impact of Premier’s collaboration with its customers to achieve real environmental results.
