The debut event attracted 1,257 visitors from 40 countries, led by industrial delegations from Spain, the UK, Italy, and Germany.
FESPA has completed the inaugural launch of Corrugated, a new dedicated exhibition and conference designed to help small-to-medium corrugated converters adopt digital print technologies. Held from 19 to 22 May 2026 at the Fira de Barcelona, the event was co-organised with Brunton Publications and ran as part of a six-in-one co-located lineup including the FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, WrapFest, and Textile.
The debut event attracted 1,257 visitors from 40 countries, led by industrial delegations from Spain, the UK, Italy, and Germany. Internal metrics collected during the four-day showcase revealed a highly targeted audience profile of senior professionals, including group-level technical directors and divisional CEOs from global paper and packaging corporations. Visitors demonstrated a strong propensity to invest, representing a collective median machinery budget of €177 million.

The show floor featured a mix of traditional corrugated machinery manufacturers and digital print innovators, including Bobst, Koenig & Bauer, Advantive, ePS, Canon, HP, EFI, Durst, and Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems.
Frederic Goudard, Marketing & Communication Manager at Bobst, commented, ‘It’s a key platform to exchange insights, explore industry trends and strengthen relationships which are shaping the future of packaging’.
Amit Shvartz, General Manager & COO at Scodix, added, ‘FESPA’s new Corrugated event was a must-attend for us. As a company that serves the signage and display market, it offered us the perfect opportunity to connect with key decision-makers, strengthen customer relationships and showcase our latest innovations and product developments’.
The rapid growth of on-demand digital print within the graphical packaging sector served as the primary talking point throughout the technical conference sessions. Exhibitors highlighted the value of introducing digital printing workflows to traditional packaging lines to handle shorter production runs and localised promotional campaigns efficiently.
Mathew Faulkner, EMEA Marketing & Innovation Director at Canon Europe, stated, ‘FESPA is the ideal event for us in the wide-format market. It united the wide-format community and provided a unique opportunity for us to explore emerging technologies and the latest developments shaping the industry. Whether it’s décor, personalisation or Corrugated – which we were proud to exhibit in and sponsor – FESPA is the perfect platform to showcase the power of digital print-on-demand across multiple verticals’.
Nick Kirby, FESPA Corrugated Ambassador, confirmed that the positive floor feedback from international visitors has established a firm foundation for the specialized event format. Following the commercial success of the Barcelona debut, FESPA has confirmed that the Corrugated expo will officially return to the trade exhibition calendar in 2028.
