Firstlite Introduces Mini RGB LED Modules

Firstlite’s new compact, versatile, and energy-efficient Mini RGB LEDs transform small spaces with bright and colourful signage

Firstlite LED Systems Limited, a leading supplier of LED modules to the UK sign market, has introduced Mini RGB (Red, Green, Blue) LED modules. These compact modules are designed for applications where space is limited or narrow stroke widths are required.

Despite their small stature, they can produce vibrant and colourful lighting effects for various industries and settings, including architectural lighting, entertainment lighting, signage, retail displays, art installations and home decor.

“Our new modules allow signmakers to push the boundaries of design, transforming static signage into dynamic visual experiences that leave a lasting impression,” said Megan Woodcock, managing director at Firstlite.

Each module is equipped with three individual LEDs: one red, one green, and one blue. This configuration allows for adjusting each colour LED’s intensity, creating a wide range of colours. This flexibility in colour control results in lighting effects that can be tailored to suit specific design requirements.

In addition to enhancing visual appeal, Firstlite’s Mini RGB LED modules contribute to energy efficiency, a key consideration for signmakers looking to reduce operational costs and environmental impact. By consuming less power while providing bright and colourful illumination, these modules align with sustainable practices without compromising performance.

“Our Mini RGB LED modules are designed to help signmakers overcome design challenges, enhance visual impact, and embrace energy-efficient solutions. Signmakers can achieve impactful lighting effects while reducing energy consumption, demonstrating their commitment to creativity and sustainability,” said Megan.

Regarding control options, Firstlite’s Mini RGB LED modules offer various management methods. They can be controlled manually, via remote control, or integrated seamlessly with lighting control systems. “This versatility allows signmakers and designers to manage lighting effects according to their preferences and project needs,” added Megan.

Furthermore, these modules are designed to be waterproof or weatherproof, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. This durability makes them ideal for use in architectural lighting, signage, and decorative installations, where exposure to the elements is a concern. The ability to withstand varying weather conditions ensures reliable performance and longevity in diverse environments.
