Inkcups has announced its participation at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, where the company will focus on the growth potential within the promotional drinkware sector. Located in Hall 3, Stand B39 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via from 19–22 May, the display will highlight how direct-to-object (DTO) technology can be leveraged to create high-margin, personalised products ranging from glass shot glasses to contoured sporting equipment.
Central to the exhibit is the X5-T High Throw flatbed UV printer. Originally debuted at FESPA 2025, this machine features an enhanced ink throw distance that allows for precise, high-quality printing on irregular and curved surfaces. By increasing the gap between the printhead and the substrate, the X5-T can maintain image clarity on objects like mugs with handles, tiered tumblers, and spherical items, covering up to 25% of a curved surface in a single pass.
Alongside the flatbed technology, Inkcups will showcase the Helix ONE benchtop cylindrical printer. Designed as a compact entry point for print service providers and apparel decorators, the Helix ONE utilise patented Helix technology to decorate straight-walled and tapered cylinders. At the 2026 event, the company will specifically demonstrate glass pre-treatment solutions that do not require traditional flame treatment, simplifying the workflow for printing on glassware and candle holders.

Hendrik Koemans, Sales Director Europe at Inkcups, said, “At Inkcups, we are continuously evolving our direct-to-object technology to expand application possibilities for our customers. Drinkware in particular is a highly lucrative opportunity for printers looking to diversify, particularly within the promotional print sector. Visitors to our stand will be able to explore how to translate this opportunity into real profit and business growth.”
In addition to current hardware, the company intends to offer a preview of its next development phase. This includes application samples and video content of an upcoming cylindrical high-throw innovation, which aims to bring the benefits of the X5-T’s contoured printing capabilities to the cylindrical market.
By demonstrating live applications on mugs, shot glasses, and pint glasses, Inkcups aims to show how its DTO portfolio—ranging from space-efficient benchtop units to industrial-scale flatbeds—can integrate into various production environments to meet the rising demand for on-demand personalisation.
