The FESPA Foundation launches its “Back to School” campaign at FESPA 2026 in Barcelona, collecting material and monetary donations for underserved schools.
The FESPA Foundation has announced its operational plans for the upcoming FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, which opens next week at the Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from 19 to 22 May. Located on Stand C95 in Hall 3, the charitable wing of the organization will invite exhibitors, visitors, and international partners to support its ongoing educational outreach programmes, which operate under the core strapline “Print for Good.”
Launched as a global initiative in 2025, the foundation focuses on transforming educational environments in underserved communities worldwide by providing equipment, funding, and printed learning resources. Since its inception, the initiative has actively supported five partner schools, utilising industry donations to improve classroom learning conditions and expand regional access to structured education.

For the 2026 exhibition, the foundation has introduced a new campaign titled “Back to School,” which focuses specifically on gathering essential items for children entering or returning to primary education. To achieve this, several major hardware and media exhibitors will use their live machinery demonstrations on the show floor to manufacture functional assets. Donated items produced during the four-day event will include educational posters, books, custom t-shirts, and stationery resources.
Sponsors and industrial partners supporting the foundation’s infrastructure this year include DSV, Durst, the FESPA Netherlands Association, Messe Frankfurt South Africa, and Summa. Additionally, the newly launched “Back to School” material donations are being anchored by contributions from prominent manufacturing brands, including Arlon, Brother, Canon, Digidelta, Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems, Mimaki, and Roland DG.
Neil Felton, FESPA CEO, said, “We’re delighted to welcome the FESPA Foundation alongside our flagship event once again this year. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our global community come together to create meaningful impact and to truly demonstrate print for good. By bringing together sustainability, education and community support, we’re helping to transform hundreds of lives and reach those who need it most, while empowering individuals with the skills, resources and opportunities to build brighter, more sustainable futures.”
The foundation’s presence coincides with the introduction of new dedicated exhibition zones at the Barcelona show, including the brand-new FESPA Corrugated and FESPA Textile areas, which run alongside European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, and WrapFest. Attendees wishing to support the educational outreach programmes can visit Stand 3-C95 to make direct financial contributions or arrange material donations from their own production facilities.
