PRINTING United Expo 2026 expands its Student Day programme in Las Vegas to connect students with print technology manufacturers and career pathways.
An expanded educational programme designed to inspire the next generation of print professionals will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Centre as part of PRINTING United Expo 2026. Scheduled for Thursday 24 September 2026, the Student Day initiative will deliver structured career development, direct mentorship and targeted networking opportunities for attendees entering the graphics and visual communications sectors.

The annual event is delivered through an ongoing partnership between PRINTING United Alliance and The Foundation for Graphic Communication Education, formerly known as the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation. Financial support from the foundation provides scholarship funding that enables educational institutions across North America to transport students and educators directly to the exhibition floor.
This year’s agenda introduces several new interactive elements to deepen engagement between visitors and established industry leaders. Structured activities include career development panel discussions, interactive roundtable sessions and guided booth tours led by Expo All-Stars ambassadors. Participating students will receive complimentary business cards to facilitate professional networking, alongside access to a dedicated Student Day Lounge featuring a professional headshot station and live demonstrations of free educational courses from the iLEARNING+ platform.
Delegates will also explore specialised zones across the venue, including the Apparel Zone, the PRINTING AI Pavilion and the Women in Print Alliance Luncheon. Major hardware and software suppliers supporting the programme through live demonstrations, structured tours and career discussions include Canon USA, Cutworx USA, Fiery, Konica Minolta, Muller Martini and Orbus.
Vice President of Membership Operations at PRINTING United Alliance, Christine Cachuela, said, ‘Student Day has become one of the most meaningful experiences at PRINTING United Expo because it is where the next generation connects with the people, companies, and technologies shaping the future of print. Students gain firsthand exposure to career opportunities, build valuable industry connections, and often take their first steps toward internships and careers, while exhibitors have the opportunity to meet talented future employees.’
Director of Operations at The FGCE, Charlotte Tueckmantel, added, ‘We are excited by the opportunities this year’s Student Day agenda provides to engage directly with leaders, technology, and companies at the forefront of the printing industry. Students can expect to make valuable connections they can leverage during their educational and career journey.’
Organisers are encouraging schools and universities to register prior to 1 September 2026 to secure guided tour allocations and complimentary networking cards.
