Epson introduces its latest technology in the signage printing market with the SC-S9100 64-inch eco-solvent printer.
The SC-S9100 is a compact 64-inch eco-solvent printer, tailored for small, medium, and large production houses engaged in general signage, wallpaper applications, and direct printing on substrates such as clear film, vinyl, canvas, and photographic paper. Featuring the new PrecisionCore Micro TFP user-replaceable printhead, the SC-S9100 boasts enhanced productivity, complemented by an additional drying system that ensures prints are cured before reaching the take-up reel. The inclusion of a new green ink expands the colour gamut, delivering smoother gradations.
Complete with Epson’s own Edge Print Pro print management software, the SC-S9100 enables the creation of professional displays for billboards, wallpapers, vehicle wrappings, and POS. With 11 colours, including CMYK, Red, Orange, Light Black, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Green, and optional White, the SC-S9100 helps customers achieve a broader colour gamut.
The SC-S9100’s low-profile design is ideal for height-restricted spaces, allowing easy status checks of multiple units. The new flat-top design provides additional workspace for users to place a laptop connected to the printer, while the transparent lid enables easy monitoring of printing status and quality. A nip lever secures the media during loading, and the large opening facilitates easy media setting and user maintenance. Epson Cloud Solution Port supports remote monitoring and management through ECSP.
For the first time, Epson has introduced a user-replaceable printhead in the EcoSolvent printer lineup, reducing downtime and maintenance costs, and ensuring continuous production capabilities whilst the new media lifter feature facilitates easy media replacements, improving usability.
