Dataline acquires graphic activities of Dansk Dataservice

Dataline continues its European growth strategy with the acquisition of the activities in the graphics industry of the Danish company Dansk Dataservice.

Dataline strengthens European growth with the acquisition of the graphic activities of Dansk Dataservice (Denmark)

Dansk Dataservice, based in Kerteminde, Denmark, has specialised in IT solutions for the graphics sector since 1983. Their flagship product, IT Graphware, is used daily by more than 600 users in some 40 companies in Denmark to efficiently calculate quotations, manage orders, and optimise production.

Continuity and new possibilities for customers

After the acquisition, Dansk Dataservice will operate under the Dataline banner, guaranteeing existing customers the ability to continue working with their trusted software and services. At the same time, they will gain access to Dataline’s innovative MultiPress MIS/ERP solution. Dataline will invest in further integration and development to help customers optimise their processes even more.

Looking to the future

Even T. Hansen, founder and CEO of Dansk Dataservice, is enthusiastic about the acquisition: “I am very happy that my life’s work is coming into the hands of an innovative and strong European player like Dataline. This offers our customers a stable and future-oriented solution that will help them grow further.”.

Dataline CEO Dirk Deroo also emphasises the strategic importance of the acquisition: “Although the Danish graphics industry is highly modernised and digitised, the sector is facing declining sales and changing market dynamics. While the sector is increasingly digitising, many companies still work with Excel spreadsheets or home-made software. The need for advanced ERP solutions is therefore greater than ever. With Dansk Dataservice, we are strengthening our position in Northern Europe and helping companies with their digital transformation.”.

This acquisition is Dataline‘s next step in its mission to provide the European graphics sector with future-proof software solutions.
