Wide-format supplier CMYUK appoints Liyu England as its first UK agent to support Liyu users with automated finishing lines and UFABRIK textiles.
CMYUK has announced a new strategic partnership with Liyu England, marking the appointment of the brand as its first dedicated UK agent. Under the terms of the agreement, Liyu England will represent both the wide-format hardware lines and the material portfolios managed by the Shrewsbury-based independent supplier.
The move unifies CMYUK’s technical infrastructure, training services, and application knowledge with the market relationships established by Liyu England’s Managing Director, Eddie Tucker. For print service providers using Liyu Platinum Technologies equipment, the collaboration opens up localised access to a wider manufacturing ecosystem, including automated finishing machinery, workflow software, and sustainable digital textiles.

Eddie Tucker has returned to active commercial leadership at Liyu England following a period away due to health challenges. Under his direction, the business has adapted its operating model to focus strictly on long-term client support and technical value. The partnership will see Tucker continue as the central contact for the UK Liyu community while utilising CMYUK’s extensive resources to help print shops build integrated production environments.
Through the new arrangement, existing Liyu users can access CMYUK’s demonstration and training facilities, alongside its wider hardware equipment catalogue, such as the JWEI range of digital cutting tables. This is intended to encourage trade buyers to move beyond single-device procurement, evaluating how automated post-press hardware can bring outsourced finishing processes back in-house to capture better margins.
Another core element of the appointment centres on expanding digital textile print applications across the UK market. Liyu England will collaborate with CMYUK’s internal technical team to promote its premium sustainable materials, specifically the UFABRIK textile range. To ensure predictable manufacturing outcomes, CMYUK colour specialists are developing dedicated UFABRIK profiles tailored to Liyu print systems, supported by upcoming video tutorials and practical workflow guides.
Robin East, Group Chief Commercial Officer at CMYUK, said, ‘Eddie is recognised as a highly committed, customer-orientated figure in the Liyu community. He knows the industry dynamics, he understands the equipment landscape, and the importance of helping businesses create efficient holistic production environments. This new agreement gives Eddie the platform to continue supporting that community, but now with the full backing of CMYUK behind him’.
Tucker added, ‘Liyu England has strategically chosen to anchor itself within the CMYUK ecosystem because it gives my customers access to a level of infrastructure, knowledge and product choice that can genuinely support their next stage of growth’.
The combined teams are scheduled to debut the joint structure at The Print Show, held at the NEC Birmingham from 29 September to 1 October 2026.
