CMYUK presents giant backlit graphics printed on the EFI VUTEk Qx5r by Ottimo Digital on Stand P270 at The Print Show 2026.
Wide-format equipment supplier CMYUK is demonstrating the large-scale print capabilities of the EFI VUTEk Qx5r superwide roll-to-roll printer on Stand P270 at The Print Show 2026. Rather than installing the 5m machine on the show floor, the distributor commissioned print provider Ottimo Digital to produce giant backlit graphics and an overhead banner using its newly acquired Qx5r press.
Produced on UFABRIK Universal Backlit textile, the supersized displays showcase the Qx5r’s flexible UV LED ink set, colour reproduction, and large-area print consistency. The production run served as a real-world test for both the 5m printing platform and the UFABRIK media, highlighting seamless ink adhesion and uniform light diffusion across expansive illuminated graphic walls.
Marketing Director at CMYUK, Sarah Neate, commented, “We wanted to show what the EFI VUTEk Qx5r can really do, but without physically bringing a 5m printer to the show. The backlits and overhead banner are doing the talking for us. They demonstrate the strength of the Qx5r’s new flexible UV inks and the impact that can be achieved from this latest-generation platform.”

His knowledge of the printer, materials, and RIP is exceptional, and being able to draw on that expertise while the job was running helped us get the very best from the combination of the printer and materials. The results on UFABRIK Universal Backlit were exceptional.”
Exhibiting in Hall 1 at the NEC Birmingham, CMYUK’s presence represents the largest stand footprint in The Print Show’s ten-year history. Alongside the Qx5r application showcase, visitors can view live equipment demonstrations featuring the 3.2m EFI VUTEk M3h UV LED hybrid printer, Canon UVgel technology, and next-generation JWEI flatbed cutting systems.
