The distributor positions SINTREX to meet the specific needs of the sign and display, large-format print, and exhibition sectors. Antalis states that the material offers a combination of printability, fire performance, and processing versatility.

Manufactured from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the sheet features natural white surfaces. The company claims this characteristic delivers strong colour reproduction across various printing technologies, including digital and screen printing. Its structure—rigid yet lightweight—allows for fast processing and efficient handling. These attributes make the product suitable for printed signage, point-of-sale (POS) displays, and show construction in both indoor and outdoor environments.

regarding fabrication, operators can cut, mill, fold, bend, and thermoform the material. It also accepts lamination, painting, and gluing, which Antalis suggests makes it a flexible solution for a wide range of technical applications.

The product is available in 5mm and 10mm thicknesses, with sheet dimensions of 1220 x 2440mm and 2030 x 3050mm. SINTREX meets stringent fire regulations, achieving EN 13501-1 B-s1, d0 classification for the 5mm version and B-s2, d0 for the 10mm version. Antalis notes that these ratings are vital for compliance in retail spaces, public buildings, and exhibition environments.

Regarding sustainability, the PET composition allows for recyclability. Antalis highlights that the material can be repeatedly recycled, supporting the market’s increasing focus on sustainable material choices.

Paul Neale, Product Manager at Antalis, comments: “SINTREX has been developed with the needs of printers and sign-makers in mind. It offers an excellent balance of print quality, lightweight handling and fire performance, giving our customers a versatile new option for indoor and outdoor signage, display and exhibition applications.”
