William Smith to Sponsor 2026 Sign Industry Awards

The company is sponsoring Best Vehicle Graphic category and returns to defend Best Customer Support Award

William Smith is preparing for awards season with two updates for the sign and graphics community. The company will once again compete for Best Customer Support at the 2026 Sign Industry Awards and will also sponsor the event in the Best Vehicle Graphic category.

After receiving the Best Customer Support award at the 2025 event, the team hopes to defend their title in March against strong competition. Lindsay Hutchinson, Head of Marketing at William Smith 1832, says last year’s recognition meant a great deal to the business. “It highlighted the effort the team puts in every day to look after our customers. Customer service is part of who we are, so we’re honoured and grateful to be shortlisted again.”

Alongside competing, William Smith is also helping to highlight the industry’s creative talent by sponsoring the Best Vehicle Graphic Award. The category celebrates outstanding vehicle wraps and the designers and applicators pushing the boundaries in branding and visual storytelling. It’s an area that closely aligns with William Smith’s long-standing involvement in the sector, from supplying trusted materials to providing training that fosters the development of skilled applicators across the UK.

“The sign and graphics industry is a close-knit community, and it benefits everyone when we come together and support each other,” says Lindsay. “Sponsoring the Best Vehicle Graphic Award felt like a natural fit. Vehicle graphics have always been important to us, and we want to continue helping professionals produce work they can be proud of.”

With almost two centuries of experience, William Smith remains dedicated to craftsmanship, innovation, and education within the sign and graphics sector. As the 2026 Sign Industry Awards approach, the team looks forward to recognising the industry’s achievements and the people who drive its success.
