swissQprint to highlight scalability of Gen 5 printers at FESPA 2026

swissQprint brings its Generation 5 flatbed printers to FESPA 2026 in Barcelona, showcasing the Kudu and Karibu 2

swissQprint has announced it will spotlight its Generation 5 flatbed printer range at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona. Under the theme “Made for Winners – Loved by Thousands,” the Swiss manufacturer intends to demonstrate the flexibility and longevity of its current hardware portfolio, which is developed and produced entirely at its headquarters in Switzerland.

The Generation 5 platform is designed as a modular investment, offering tiered productivity levels that reach up to 341 square metres per hour. This scalability allows businesses to expand their hardware capabilities as production demands increase, providing a secure long-term investment for both boutique print shops and high-volume industrial environments.

Carmen Eicher, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint, said: “With flatbed Generation 5, we have the right solution for businesses all along the scale – from small operations to industrial production environments. Two flatbed sizes, tiered productivity levels up to 341 m²/h and modular expandability make these systems a secure, scalable investment.”

The swissQprint stand will feature two machines running live throughout the event. Representing the flatbed range is the Kudu, the company’s high-end model known for its striking combination of speed and precision. Joining it is the Karibu 2, a dedicated roll-to-roll printer featuring unique handling capabilities designed for high-efficiency flexible media production.

Beyond standard CMYK output, the company will showcase an application gallery featuring high-margin specialist effects. These include eye-catching neon prints and sophisticated colour-changing applications, designed to help print service providers differentiate their offerings in a competitive market.

A core part of the swissQprint proposition is the durability of its machinery. The company reports that 90% of all its machines over ten years old remain in daily operation today. This focus on longevity is supported by low maintenance requirements and a 36-month factory warranty, aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership for the user.

Visitors to Hall 3, Stand B140, will be able to consult with swissQprint’s international distribution network to receive market-specific advice on how Generation 5 technology can support their specific business growth and sustainability goals.
