Enabling a more sustainable DTF production process without compromising on print quality, Soyang Europe has introduced a new paper-based alternative to conventional PET transfer film.
Soyang Europe has expanded its direct-to-film (DTF) range with the launch of a paper-based transfer media that offers an environmentally conscious alternative to conventional PET transfer film.

Named Soyang DTF Paper, the new product is a single-sided release-coated transfer paper featuring an anti-static treatment and a hot-peel release. Designed specifically for use with digital inkjet DTF printers running water-based pigment inks, the media can be recycled through standard paper waste streams, significantly helping print businesses reduce their plastic waste.
Developed to slot seamlessly into existing DTF production environments, Soyang DTF Paper delivers the same reliable transfer performance and high-quality print results users expect, while offering a more sustainable option for garment decoration. Furthermore, the material is fully OEKO-TEX certified, confirming it has been independently tested against internationally recognised standards for harmful substances and providing added assurance for businesses producing apparel and textile products.
Available in 60cm x 100m rolls, Soyang DTF Paper is suited to a wide range of applications, including personalised garments, workwear, sportswear, and promotional clothing. It enables print service providers to meet the growing customer demand for more environmentally responsible products without sacrificing quality, consistency, or production efficiency.
Oliver Mashiter, Sales Director at Soyang Europe, comments: “Soyang DTF Paper gives our customers greater choice when it comes to DTF production. As businesses look for practical ways to reduce their environmental impact, this paper-based transfer media offers a straightforward alternative to traditional PET film without requiring changes to established production workflows.
“We’re continually investing in innovative materials that respond to changing market requirements. This latest addition strengthens our DTF portfolio and supports customers looking to deliver more sustainable textile decoration solutions while maintaining the high standards of performance their customers expect.”
