KOPA & Decro Wood-Effect Aluminium is a fast, flexible, and reliable signage solution

Sign & Digital UK 2025 | NEC Birmingham Hall 19 | February 23-25, 2025 | Stand P130

Sign Trade Supplies (STS) is set to bring its trusted range of aluminium profiles, fixings, and components to Sign & Digital UK. A key highlight at the STS stand will be the KOPA Post & Panel System, a cutting-edge system that’s quickly becoming a go-to choice for high-quality, durable, and sustainable signage solutions.

Garrick Dartnell, Head of Marketing at STS, says, “KOPA offers a versatile sign system that’s perfect for outdoor applications. With a range of colours and finishes, KOPA is designed to create fantastic, flexible wayfinding solutions while keeping sustainability at the forefront.”

In addition to KOPA, STS will also be showcasing the newly available Decro Wood-Effect Aluminium, an alternative to traditional wood, stone, and steel finishes. Now ready for immediate orders on the STS website, Decro combines the look and texture of natural materials with all the durability, weather resistance, and ease of installation aluminium is known for.

Decro is ideal for architectural signage, wayfinding projects, retail displays, and hospitality venues. It can even be incorporated into a KOPA Sign System to add further versatility to the product.

“We’re really excited about both KOPA and Decro,” says Garrick. “Sign-makers are always looking for high-end finishes without the drawbacks of traditional materials, and these products deliver that in spades. KOPA offers durability and sustainability, while Decro provides a natural look without the hassle.”

“Let’s be honest, aluminium’s great, but it doesn’t always shout ‘Traditional design!’. Before Decro, if you wanted a wood or stone effect, you’d have to rely on vinyl wraps, which can be hit or miss in the long run. Decro is a whole new approach. Simpler, more cost-effective, and frankly, it just looks better. KOPA takes it a step further by offering a material that’s both eco-friendly and incredibly durable.”

Thanks to Decro’s multi-stage coating process – cleaning, a powder base coat, and a final texture layer – signmakers can now achieve stunning finishes like oak, teak, mahogany, and even Corten steel. It’s durable, stable, and won’t warp or twist like natural materials, meaning less waste, smoother installations, and a flawless finish every time.

With profiles available up to 6m in length and a circumference of up to 650mm, Decro gives signmakers the flexibility to create bold, custom designs without the usual hassle.

“We’ve already had incredible interest,” concludes Garrick. “The response has been amazing. And now that it’s available for fast delivery, we’re excited to see how signmakers will incorporate it into their projects. If you’re at Sign & Digital UK, swing by our stand on P132, check it out, and chat with the team!”
