Vizability Media Group meets growing demand for premium solutions by investing in a VeloBlade Volta 69+ from SEDO – Large Format Solutions
Vizability Media Group (VMG) runs a dedicated print production centre in Fulham, South West London. The company was formed as a traditional lithographic print and design business way back in 1979, and since then has developed and evolved into a leading digital print, signage, picture framing and branding solutions provider.
“To deliver a quality solution, we need high-quality equipment,” says Tahir Chowdry, managing director of VMG. “This is why we are focused on having an advanced suite of in-house machinery to support our commitment to delivering high-quality, bespoke print solutions.”
To meet growing customer demand and to further enhance its offering, VMG recently invested in a VeloBlade Volta 69+ digital die-cutting system. The machine was delivered and installed by SEDO – Large Format Solutions in May 2025.
The VeloBlade Volta 69+ allows up to 10mm of cutting depth on a 600x900mm bed. It works on a vast range of substrates, including card, paper, labels, KT board, foam board, ABS board and corrugated paper.
Meeting the demand for premium, customised print
VMG is a leading player in a fast-paced creative market, and Tahir had identified that clients’ demands and expectations continue to grow. “Our customers increasingly ask for premium, custom packaging, short-run production, and quick-turnaround mock-ups — all without compromising quality. The challenge is to meet these demands with speed, flexibility, and creative control, all while managing operations efficiently in-house. This drove the need for us to invest in a new, advanced finishing solution.”
After a thorough evaluation, VMG identified the VeloBlade Volta as the ideal machine to address their needs. “The VeloBlade ticked every box for us. We worked closely with the team at SEDO, who showed us how it could deliver high-precision digital die-cutting, short-run packaging, and intricate finishing — all with speed and flexibility. It’s perfect for our business and to meet the growing demand for bespoke, high-end customer solutions,” explains Tahir.

The choice of supplier was equally critical. “We selected SEDO as our partner because of their outstanding industry reputation, extensive product knowledge, and their commitment to supporting us both during and after the purchase. They got us and our business, and were clearly focused on making sure we had the best possible solution for our specific needs. Now and in the future.”
Andy McGuinness, Managing Director of SEDO – Large Format Solutions, adds, “It was a pleasure to work with VMG. They are a company that values quality and reliability in its operations and customer service. We were delighted to have the opportunity to show them what the VeloBlade could do and why it was perfect for their business.”
The installation
VMG’s print production centre is located below ground and is only accessible via a staircase. For a 450 Kg machine, this presented a logistical challenge when it came to the actual installation. “Yes, our print production centre could be more accessible — but the SEDO team handled it like true professionals,” says Tahir. “They assessed the situation and overcame the challenge with great fortitude!”
He continues, “Once the machine was in place, the installation was very smooth and SEDO ensured everything was operational quickly. The training was thorough, hands-on, and focused on practical use — equipping our team to deliver customer-ready results right away.”
Tahir says that the relationship with SEDO has been very highly valued. “The SEDO team have been exceptional, all the way from initial discussions to post-installation support. They understand the pressures of running a high-demand production studio and tailored their service to suit us. Their expertise and commitment to our success were clear from day one.”
The VeloBlade impact
The impact of the VeloBlade has been immediate and far-reaching, enhancing VMG’s business and, crucially, the service they offer their clients. The benefits to VMG’s clients include faster delivery times, more customisation options, premium finishing without premium lead times and the ability to prototype and refine designs quickly before full production.

“The VeloBlade is a strategic upgrade that unlocks new capabilities and opens doors to larger-scale campaigns. We’re in a very competitive market, and this investment keeps us at the forefront of the industry,” adds Tahir.
Future vision
In a short time since it was installed, VMG is already enjoying the versatility and capabilities of the VeoBlade across a range of projects. “We’re already putting the VeoBlade to work on custom packaging, personalised presentation folders, short-run POS, and prototype development. It’s enabling us to take on larger, more complex briefs and deliver results within tighter timelines — all while maintaining full creative control in-house.”
Looking ahead, Vizability Media Group has ambitious plans. “Our focus is on scaling our specialist print offering, expanding into more luxury packaging and creative retail solutions, and continuing to invest in technology that directly benefits our clients.”
Tahir concludes, “The VeoBlade is a key part of our future vision. It will enable us to innovate and serve our customers better, faster, and more creatively. We are delighted with it so far and very grateful for the advice, support and professionalism we have enjoyed from SEDO.”
