From labels and packaging to apparel, wide-format, commercial, textile, in-plant, and beyond – the Expo sets the stage for solutions shaping the global future of print
PRINTING United Expo heads to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from October 22-24. PRINTING United Alliance, the member-based printing and graphic arts association says that the annual Expo unites the entire printing industry — from commercial, packaging, wide-format, apparel, textile, in-plant, and beyond. With more than 800 exhibitors across one million square feet, attendees will see groundbreaking product launches, first-in-North America debuts, and new experiential show floor activations like never before. Registration can be made online at: www.printingunited.com.
PRINTING United Expo was founded on convergence — the powerful idea that growth opportunities multiply when segments come together. Today, convergence isn’t just a trend, it’s a business imperative. Commercial printers are expanding into packaging; apparel decorators are digitising; wide-format shops are exploring décor; and all sectors are embracing automation, sustainability, and artificial intelligence (AI). Only PRINTING United Expo offers a single destination where all these markets, solutions, and strategies converge — under one roof.
Ford Bowers, CEO, PRINTING United Alliance, told us, “PRINTING United Expo 2025 is where convergence, innovation, and community come together. This year, attendees will see groundbreaking technologies making their North American debut, live iLEARNING+ workforce development demos, and the sold-out G7/G7+ Exchange — all alongside a premium VIP member experience. There is no other event that delivers this level of access, learning, and connection across the entire printing industry.”

What’s New, What’s First, and What’s Experiential
There are many “new,” “firsts,” and “experiential” activities waiting for the global attendees going to Orlando, including:
Global and North American Product Debuts: Technology being revealed for the first time in North America across automation, finishing, workflow, sustainability, and digital transformation from powerhouse industry names.
New! PRINTING AI Pavilion: This first-of-its-kind destination features a dedicated “AI Wall,” live demos, presentations, and success stories on how AI is transforming print.
NEW! “Spill the Ink” Roundtable Discussions: The Expo’s newest drop-in discussion zone is built for real-time, real-talk conversations between peers, thought leaders, and curious minds across the industry. Choose from a variety of times and days to participate during the show.
Apparel Zone: Dubbed the “Apparelist’s Print Paradise,” this area offers hands-on training opportunities across screen printing, direct-to-film, cut-and-sew, embroidery, sublimation, and heat-applied graphics. Catch a session or presentation in the popular Apparelist Live! Theatre.
PDAA Zone: Gain hands-on experience with film applications where attendees can watch live installs or try technologies themselves.
NEW! Sold-Out G7/G7+ Exchange: A cornerstone for colour management leaders worldwide, this new Exchange has reached capacity — underscoring the importance of global standards and consistency across print segments. Attendees can also join in the planned G7+ on-site certification taking place during the show.
iLEARNING+ Live Demos: Attendees can test drive the Alliance’s expansive online learning platform right on the show floor. With courses spanning AI, dye-sublimation, colour management, screen-making, and more, iLEARNING+ is shaping the workforce of tomorrow for users around the world.
“PRINTING United Expo is more than just a trade show — it’s where the full spectrum of print comes to life under one roof,” said Chris Curran, Group President, Media and Events, PRINTING United Alliance. “From the debut of our new PRINTING AI Pavilion to the most robust Apparel Zone yet, along with Media Day for our global content creators, Student Day for the future of our industry, and our expanded show floor education, this year’s event embodies the innovation and community that set the Expo apart.”
Exhibitor Highlights: Convergence in Action
At the Expo, attendees will experience how technologies are blurring traditional lines between print segments. For instance, solutions will be available that enable packaging converters to expand into signage, promotional printing, and commercial print markets. Attendees will also see workflow platforms that unify processes across packaging, wide-format, labels, and speciality printing — enabling shops to manage multiple applications in one integrated system.
Digital embellishment tools will be on display that apply decorative finishes across packaging, signage, merchandising, and speciality print, opening high-value opportunities across markets. Attendees can sign up for a spot on the daily Embellishment Technology Tour, powered by PRINTING United Alliance and Taktiful.
And textile and apparel decoration technologies that merge garment printing with digital workflows and automation will be showcased, redefining what’s possible for apparel production. These cross-segment solutions embody the convergence theme that defines PRINTING United Expo, demonstrating how printers can diversify, expand, and thrive in multiple markets simultaneously.
VIP Member Experience
Membership in the Alliance unlocks a more immersive Expo experience. Alliance members receive perks like free Expo passes for those that qualify, and exclusive discounted registration for educational sessions, as well as express registration and dedicated lounges to recharge and network. Members and the industry at large have the chance to meet industry leaders and subject matter experts at the Alliance who expertly cover issues on EHS, OSHA, HR, economics, and more; as well as learn more about how the Alliance is advocating on critical issues on the Hill.
Workforce Development at the Forefront
Each year, the Expo makes workforce development a centrepiece of its programming. More than 70 paid educational sessions span the hottest topics and are action-oriented, covering AI, sales, sustainability, segment-specific opportunities, automation, and areas for market expansion. Specially crafted forums are also planned for those in packaging, in-plant, and wide-format, to explore how each segment is transforming and identify where new opportunities lie.
New in 2025 is a dedicated Enterprise Print Track, which offers a deep dive into enterprise-class operations, covering hyper-personalisation, workflow transformation, regulatory compliance, and AI adoption.
Student Day, in partnership with the Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF), will be held on October 23, where students will tour exhibitor booths, see technology in action, explore careers, and connect directly with hiring companies.
