Printess adopts Atomyx Prepare cloud-based artwork processing

Printess, the cloud-based personalisation platform announces its integration with Atomyx Prepare, the print-dedicated integration platform

The strategic partnership between Printess and Atomyx gives print providers access to preflight and correction functionalities directly within the Printess platform. This eliminates the need for complex workflows and time-consuming file exchanges, empowering businesses to streamline their operations, reduce manual tasks, and scale with ease.

Printess recognised that many print service providers already rely on preflight and correction tools. So, why adopt another? While increasing the quality, current artwork processing implementations often require a lot of integration work, back and forth between online and on-premises pre-production interventions, increasing turnaround times. Atomyx Prepare reduces this complexity.

Atomyx Prepare is a scalable cloud-based API that delivers preflighting and correction, removing the challenges posed by legacy systems. By eliminating the need for back-and-forth file handling, Atomyx Prepare simplifies deployment, enhances productivity, and enables print providers to efficiently meet the growing demands of the digital print market.

Known for its dynamic mock-ups, ISO-compliant colour management, and personalization capabilities, Printess’ personalization solution now becomes even more robust through this partnership. With Atomyx Prepare embedded, Printess ensures print service providers can handle growing production demands without compromising quality or speed.

“By integrating Atomyx Prepare into our platform, we’re addressing a critical gap in the print e-commerce landscape,” said Christoph Schacht, Co-founder of Printess. “This collaboration with Atomyx is a game-changer for our customers, simplifying workflows and unlocking new possibilities for efficient production.”

The Printess and Atomyx partnership reflects their shared vision of making print operations smarter, faster, and easier to manage. Whether handling complex variable data jobs, ensuring design accuracy, or automating workflows, this integration empowers businesses to save time, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

“Atomyx Prepare isn’t just about preflighting—it’s about delivering solutions exactly where and when they’re needed within the process. No more pre-production time-consuming and complex processes,” said Tom Peire, Chief Evangelist at Atomyx and CEO of Four Pees. “Our partnership with Printess combines our strengths to ensure print service providers can optimize every step of their process.”

Printess will be joining Four Pees at Hunkeler Innovation Days (booth 341, Hall 1) in Lucerne, Switzerland, from February 24th to 27th where attendees will have the opportunity to see Atomyx in action.
