Printers offered early look at Mimaki UJV200 UV before FESPA

Hybrid Services will demonstrate the new Mimaki UJV200 series roll-to-roll UV printers both in Crewe and online, starting from Friday 15 May 2026.

Hybrid Services has announced details for the UK launch of the Mimaki UJV200 Series LED UV wide-format roll-to-roll printers. Starting on Friday 15 May 2026, the launch will run as a dual-format event, combining in-person demonstrations at Hybrid’s headquarters in Crewe, Cheshire, with a virtual showcase for remote attendees.

The UJV200 series includes 1.3-metre and 1.6-metre models, which have been developed to provide commercial sign and graphics businesses with a flexible, entry-level route into UV printing. The systems are designed to print onto a broad range of standard and uncoated substrates, making them suitable for applications such as durable outdoor signage, high-impact retail displays, customised interior décor, and window graphics.

The live events in Cheshire will provide print professionals with an opportunity to evaluate the machines’ print speeds, media handling capabilities, and ink performance. Mimaki product specialists will be on-site to answer technical questions and present a variety of finished application samples.

For businesses unable to travel to the Crewe showroom, the concurrent virtual launch event will offer equivalent access. Available from 15 May 2026 and accessible on demand thereafter, the digital platform will feature detailed video demonstrations and product overviews, allowing companies to explore the technology remotely.

The timing of the launch allows UK signmakers to inspect the hardware ahead of the upcoming FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona. By hosting the Crewe and virtual events first, Hybrid Services aims to give domestic buyers a head start in assessing how these new platforms can fit into their existing production workflows.

Registration is free but required for both the physical showroom slots and the virtual access links. Print service providers can secure their places directly through the Hybrid Services website.
