New dye sub enhancements from Mimaki target textile signage

Mimaki launches TS330-1800 upgrade offering an expanded 1.9m print width and vibrant fluorescent ink options for the textile and home décor markets

Mimaki has announced enhancements to its dye sublimation TS330 Series, including the introduction of the TS330-1800. The entire series is now compatible with Mimaki’s Sb411 inks in Orange, Violet, Fluorescent Pink, and Fluorescent Yellow, offering users greater colour flexibility and control.

The extended colour range, which now includes 11 different inks, provides improved vibrancy and colour saturation. This is particularly relevant for high-impact branding on sportswear, fabric signage, and promotional merchandise. The new ink configurations allow for better colour accuracy, meeting the production needs of sectors where high colour fidelity is required.

The Mimaki TS330-1800 features an expanded print width and an extensive range of colour capabilities for a diverse array of applications.

With a maximum printing width of 1,940mm, the new TS330-1800 allows users to increase output and diversify into larger applications such as curtains. The extended width enables more panels to be placed side-by-side, which can reduce rows and minimise material waste while bypassing the time often spent on sewing and pattern matching.

Arjen Evertse, director sales at Mimaki Europe, said, “Achieving eye-catching prints is becoming increasingly important when printing textiles, particularly when it comes to branded material like signage or sportswear. To cater to this market need, vibrant inks like fluorescents give users the ability to produce more saturated, as well as more accurate, colours in their applications.”

Evertse added that because digitally printed textiles are in high demand for the home décor market, the company wanted to offer a larger machine to accommodate those applications. The TS330-1800 maintains the series’ existing benefits of high image quality and colour density while improving layout efficiency for various applications.

The TS330 Series utilises Mimaki’s OEKO-TEX ECO-PASSPORT certified Sb411 inks, intended to provide vivid results that meet sustainability requirements. The TS330-1800 will be delivered with the standard TxLink5 Lite RIP software for workflow management.

The system is exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland by Hybrid Services and will be available through its network of authorised reseller partners from Spring 2026.
