Neolt Factory appoints CMYUK as exclusive UK distributor of XY Plus Trim range

The XY Plus Trim range comprises several models tailored for various wide format cutting applications and is designed to handle a wide variety of materials, including laminated paper, canvas, polyester, vinyl, and PVC.

At Fespa this month, Neolt introduced the latest model in the range—the XY Trim Plus 3300mm, engineered for the high-precision cutting of super-wide wallpapers, banners, and displays. A pneumatic plug-and-play machine with touch-screen control, it maintains the core features of the XY Plus range, including automatic alignment.

A successful pairing

Neolt and CMYUK announced a strategic partnership in September 2024, which has flourished. “After nearly a year of successful collaboration, it became increasingly clear that CMYUK was the right partner to represent our XY cutting solutions and the high-end range of Neolt equipment in the UK market. This decision is the natural outcome of a trusted working relationship where both commercial and technical teams have demonstrated excellence and commitment. Our shared quality and customer care values made this exclusive agreement a strategic step forward,” said Ettore Briccoli Pontiggia, Neolt’s International Sales Manager.

World-class equipment portfolio

CMYUK is renowned for its world-class production equipment portfolio supported by outstanding commercial and technical teams. It is also known for its expert market knowledge, extensive customer base, and high service standards.

“Every product in CMYUK’s portfolio is carefully selected, and their reputation is synonymous with quality and reliability. This alignment ensures that our XY Trim Plus and other advanced systems are in the right hands for success,” noted Ettore.

Growth sectors in the UK

Ettore has identified two key market sectors in the UK that offer tremendous potential for Neolt: the automated production of posters using XY systems in line with Canon Colorado printers and the booming market in digitally printed wallpaper.

“These are segments where CMYUK already operates with authority and success. Their reach into both industrial and creative sectors perfectly aligns with our strategy to grow in high-volume, automated, and value-driven environments,” said Ettore.

New model, new opportunities

Neolt expects to significantly expand its UK presence with its new XY Trim Plus 3300mm launch, opening up new opportunities for customers working with 3.2m wide printers, such as EFI.

Sue Hayward, Commercial Director, CMYUK, said,  “We’re delighted to expand our partnership with Neolt and become the exclusive UK distributor for the XY Trim Plus range. It is a perfect fit for our portfolio as we are the leading global and European distributor for the Canon Colorado, and Neolt is officially recognised as a Canon Finishing Ambassador. This collaboration between the two integrates Neolt’s advanced finishing systems with the Colorado, enhancing automation and productivity in large format workflows.”

Ettore commented, “CMYUK’s ability to identify and reach customers, combined with their professional approach to training and support, will be key to accelerating adoption and delivering success stories.

“Our collaboration over the past year has proven that CMYUK is a reliable, proactive, and highly professional partner. At FESPA Berlin, I personally experienced the trust customers place in CMYUK: when we mentioned our systems were represented by CMYUK, clients immediately associated that with reliability and security. This direct feedback confirmed to us that exclusivity with CMYUK is not just strategic — it’s the right move for sustainable, long-term growth in the UK.”
