On October 21st, 2026, printing professionals and print enthusiasts around the world will join for the 13th annual International Print Day, sharing “printspiration” across social media with the hashtag #IPD26 and celebrating the theme, #PrintWorks. From marketing campaigns and packaging to books, labels, signage, and beyond, #PrintWorks recognises how creativity, technology, and skilled people come together to produce communication that gets noticed, remembered, and delivers results.

Participants are encouraged to share some print love with the world through the projects, ideas, and applications that show the strength and effectiveness of print media. By sharing how their businesses contribute to creative and business results and including the hashtags #IPD26 and #PrintWorks, posts can be easily found and become part of the global conversation. Since 2014, International Print Day has generated more than 200 million impressions across social media.
Deborah Corn, Founder of International Print Day and Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse at Print Media Centr, commented: “Thirteen years later, it is still incredible to see how International Print Day is celebrated around the world and how people make it their own. This year, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is celebrating International Print Day for the third time, with three events bringing together printers, partners, and students. International Print Day provides a backdrop for everyone to celebrate and share printspiration.”
The International Print Day celebration in the Democratic Republic of the Congo includes an International Print Day DRC panel on October 21st, a student visit to Mediaspaul Printing House on October 23rd to learn about printing and its role in education, and a gala for the DRC printing community at the Great Hall of the Kinshasa Botanical Garden on October 31st.
Michaël G. Mpa, CEO of Galaxie Print and IPD-DRC Ambassador, added: “For the printing community of the Democratic Republic of Congo, International Print Day is an opportunity to recognize the profession of the printer and highlight the contribution of printing to national and international life. It gives us a platform to advocate for our sector, assert ourselves as printing professionals, and celebrate the important role print plays in literacy, education, and society.”
To help spread the word, the official International Print Day 2026 poster, designed by Craig Bower of Design That Rocks, is available for download online for participants to print, post, and share.
