HFE Signs says Antalis’ Easystock™ a “win-win”

Antalis’ easystock™ inventory management service is designed to optimise and automate orders for frequently used products

Karl Hunter, Managing Director of HFE Signs, Burton Upon Trent, explains how easystock from Antalis has revolutionised inventory management for his business: “easystock eliminates human error, and we end up only paying for what we have used. We have total trust in the automated system, knowing that all deliveries will be managed by Antalis’ superb logistics system.”

Antalis’ easystock automates the management of high-turnover items, typically those ordered at least twice a month. It focuses on critical products essential to businesses and their customers, ensuring seamless service with no stock delays. Ideal for managing 10 to 30 items, easystock encompasses all Antalis products, including papers, envelopes, packaging materials, visual communication supplies and films.

The application scrutinises inventory levels daily and schedules restocking the moment an item’s stock reaches a predefined minimum. Once triggered, restocking replenishes items to their maximum levels, eliminating wait times, errors, and manual intervention whilst also reducing less used inventory, freeing up resources.

While easystock is fully automated, it offers manual override options for flexibility in handling specific demands and unforeseen situations. Antalis’ dedicated easystock advisors are available to provide guidance and ensure the service is tailored to meet specific needs. Customers can work with Antalis to define a list of frequently needed products and set minimum and maximum inventory levels. Although the inventory is stored at customer sites but remains the property of Antalis. Customers only pay for products when they consume them.

In conclusion, Karl explains that “easystock has eliminated stock issues and given us much more flexibility, even with sizeable jobs. It automates repetitive order flows and optimises inventory levels, allowing us to save valuable time and focus on other production tasks. In my experience, there are no disadvantages with the easystock service, and it’s a win-win all the way!”
