With less than two weeks to go until the doors open for this year’s Sign & Digital UK, exhibitors at this year’s exhibition have shared their thoughts on the exhibition and its importance in the industry calendar.

Michael Bolton, managing director of returning exhibitor printMAX says Sign & Digital UK is always a highlight for the team adding: “This year, we’re excited to return with a fresh, educational approach. printMAX is not only returning this year with the brand-new Peronsalisation Zone, but will also be presenting the latest roll-to-roll print & cut technology, including the acclaimed Roland TrueVIS VG3-640 and the new LG-640 LED-UV print & cut devices. The new Mimaki CJV200 and UCJV330 printer-cutters will also be on display, along with some great offers on certified refurbished legacy printers.

Managing director of Soyang Europe, Mark Mashiter, also confirms that SDUK is one of the annual highlights for the team. He adds: “It is the first opportunity of the year to take part in a large-scale, industry-wide event and capitalise on the wide-ranging audience that regularly attends.”

Soyang will be showcasing technology from leading brands such as Fujifilm, Vivid Laminating Technologies and Mimaki. Receiving its exhibition debut on stand will be the SoStick range, which will be used for live demonstrations of Soyang’s hardware solutions.

Explaining the importance of exhibitions like Sign & Digital UK in today’s ever-evolving marketplace is ITC’s technical sales manager, Sally Hunt. She says: “The opportunity to discuss production challenges with the industry is more pertinent now than ever, as material technology, cutting applications and environmental concerns continually evolve.

“The face-to-face engagement with the industry will allow visitors to witness the difference between high-quality UK products purchased directly from the manufacturer and overseas products purchased via distribution channels.”

Also confirming the importance of SDUK for the industry is Katie Farr, Antalis’ marketing and communications manager. “Sign & Digital UK has long been an important date in the wide format calendar. It is an ideal opportunity to connect, reconnect and build relationships, as well as learn from the seminars and other exhibitors,” she says.

And finally, Rob Goleniowski, head of sales for the UK and Ireland, Roland DG, concludes with his thoughts: “Sign & Digital UK has always been a cornerstone event for Roland DG, and we’re thrilled to be back. This event is not just about unveiling innovations – it’s about engaging with our customers, understanding their needs, and supporting their growth. These conversations help ensure our solutions continue to meet the industry’s evolving demands.”

Roland DG will be premiering the TrueVIS XP-640, the newest addition to its flagship large format printer series.

Running for over 35 years, SDUK is a central part of the industry calendar and recognised as a launch pad for new products and an economic stimulus for the industry.
